 \underline{\pink{Dimensions \:of \:a \: cylider:}}

 Height (h) = 5 \:cm

 and \: base \:radius (r) = 2 \:cm

 \pi = 3.14

 \red{Curved\:surface \:area \: of \: cylider}

 = 2\pi rh

 = 2 \times 3.14 \times 2 \:cm\times 5 \:cm

= 62.8 \:cm^{2}

Therefore.,

 \red{Curved\:surface \:area \: of \: cylider}

 \green { = 62.8 \:cm^{2}}

 \green { \approx 63 \:cm^{2} }

curved surface area of cylinder is 62.83cm sq.

Given that

Height of cylinder is 5cm

Radius of cylinder is 2cm

To find

Curved surface area of cylinder

Solution

Let r as radius of cylinder

h as height of cylinder

c as curved surface area of cylinder

As we know that

c = 2 \times \pi \times r \times h

put

\pi = 3.14

hence

c = 2 \times 3.14 \times 2 \times 5

by multiplication we get

c = 62.83 {cm}^{2}
