for maximum volume of cylindrical wood diameter equal 14cm
hence r=7cm
now volume of cylindrical wood=pi.r^2.h
= 22/7 x 7 x 7 x 30
=154 x 30=4620 cm^3
now wastage wood volume=5880-4620
=1260cm^3
