Given that, A cylinder of volume 150 cm³ is full of water.
Volume of cylinder = 150 cm³
Volume of water = 150 cm³
A solid cone is introduced inside the cylinder , now 2/3 rd of water is remaining in jar.
∴ displaced water = 1 - 2/3 = 1/3 of 150 cm³ = 50 cm³
Volume of cone = displaced amount of water
Volume of the solid cone = 50 cm³
Volume of cylinder = 150 cm³
Volume of water = 150 cm³
A solid cone is introduced inside the cylinder , now 2/3 rd of water is remaining in jar.
∴ displaced water = 1 - 2/3 = 1/3 of 150 cm³ = 50 cm³
Volume of cone = displaced amount of water
Volume of the solid cone = 50 cm³
