• Given radius of the cylindrical tank = 14 m

• Given capacity, i.e. Volume = 6160 m³

p
• But, volume of a cylinder = πr²h

 = > > > \pi {r}^{2} h = 6160

 = > h = \frac{6160}{\pi {r}^{2} }

 = > h = \frac{ 6160 \times 7 }{22 \times 14 \times 14}

 = > h = \frac{43120}{4312}

 = > h = 10

•°• Height of the tank is 10 m.

• Then, it's Curved surface area (C.S.A),

 = 2 \: \pi \: r \: h

 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 \times 10

 = 2 \times 22 \times 2 \times 10

 = 880

= 880 m².

• So, cost of painting the C.S.A,

 = area \: \times \: rate

 = 880 \times 3

 = 2640

= 2640 Rs.

•°• The cost of painting the C.S.A is 2640 Rs.
