Answer:

Volume of cylinder of radius r and height h is given by =πr²h as radius = 2/Diameter = 14/2 =7cm

⇒ Volume = 22/7 x 7² x 6=

= 924cm³

Given :

  • Diameter = 14 cm

  • Radius = 7cm

  • Height = 6cm

To find :

  • CSA of cylinder

  • TSA of cylinder

  • Volume of cylinder

Solution :

  • First, By using the formula of Curved Surface Of Cylinder, Where π is 22/7, R is radius and H is Height.

  • Then with the formula of Total surface area of cylinder We will get the TSA of cylinder.

  • At last with the formula of Volume Of Cylinder, we will find the volume.

✰ CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

✰ TSA of cylinder = 2πr (h + r)

✰ Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Let's Find out...!

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

➤ 2 × 22/7 × 7 × 6

➤ 44 × 6

➤ 264 cm²

___________

TSA of cylinder = 2πr (h + r)

➤ 2 × 22/7 × 7 (7 + 6)

➤ 44 (7 + 6)

➤ 44 × 13

➤ 572 cm²

___________

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

➤ 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 6

➤ 154 × 6

➤ 924 cm²

___________

Therefore,

i.) CSA of cylinder = 264 cm²

ii.) TSA of cylinder = 572 cm²

iii.) Volume of cylinder = 924 cm²
