If cylinder has inner diameter is 10.4cm and thickness is 8mm=0.8cm
therefore outer diameter is 11.2cm
therefore volume with outer diameter is
=Πr^2h=3.14×11.2×11.2×25=9847.04cm^3
and volume with diameter inner 10.4cm is
=3.14×10.4×10.4×25=8490.56cm^3
Now volume of metal is
=9847.04-8490.56=1356.48cm^3

Solution :

Internal diameter = 11.2cm

Internal radius = 11.22

= 5.6m

Length of the tube = 21 cm

Volume of the internal cylinder = π r² h

=> 22×5.6×5.6×217

=> 2069.76 cm²

External radius = R = (5.6 + 0.4)

Volume of the external cylinder =πR²h

=> 22×6×6×217

=>2376cm²

Volume of the metal :

=> volume of external diameter - volume of internal diameter.

=> (2376 - 2069.76) cm²

=> 306. 24 cm²

Answer: 306. 2 cm² .
