A cylindrical water tank carries a volume of 150l when it is full The water tank has a base surface with a diameter of 140cm. What is the height of the water tank? Round off your answer.

volume of cylinder=2π r(r+h)=150 litres

diameter = 140cm

radius= 140÷2 = 70cm

so by formula,

2×3.14×70(70+h)=150

439.6(70+h)= 150

30772+30772h= 150

30772h= 150- 30772

30772h= -30572

h= 30572/30772

= 0.9cm

round off to 1.0 cm( 1cm)
