Height of well (h) = 21m
Inner radius = 21/2 m
outer radius = 14/2 m = 7m
Curved surface area of cylinder = 2×pie×R×h
where pie= 22/7 R= radius of cylinder
And h=height of cylinder
inner curved surface area= 2×22/7×7×21= 924m square
Cost of renovating = rate × area
= 25 × 924
= $23100
Outer curved surface area = 2×pie×R×h
=2×22/7×7×21
=1386m square

Cost of renovating= rate × area
= 25 × 1386
= $34650
Total cost = $(34650+23100)
= $57750
