Let mp be Rs x and discount =10%. Since sp=m p-discount. So, sp=x-10%of x=9x/10.Now gain=10%, cp=Rs900.so sp=cp+gain=900+1/10=9001/10. Now 9x/10=9001/10,x=9001/9=1000.11.Hence mp is Rs100.11
