answer : option (a) 116 Rs

explanation : A dealer buys dry fruits at Rs. 100, Rs 80 and Rs. 60 per kilogram. He mixes them in the ratio 4 : 5 : 6 by weight.

so, price of one kg of dry fruit = 100 × 4/15 + 80 × 5/15 + 60 × 6/15

= (400 + 400 + 360)/15

= 1160/15 = 232/3 = 77.33 Rs

he sells at profit of 50% .

so, selling price of dry fruit = 77.33 + 77.33 × 50/100

= 77.33 + 77.33/2

= 115.995 Rs ≈ 116 Rs.

hence, answer is option (a)

Answer:

Rs. 116

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the dealer buys 4 kg, 5 kg and 6 kg.

Price of total dry fruits = 4 × 100 + 5 × 80 + 6 × 60 = Rs. 1160

SP = 1160 + 50% of 1160 = 1740

Hence,

Price of mix dry fruits per kg = 1740/15

= Rs. 116
