a dealer marks price of his mobiles 40% above the cost price and allows 20% discount. if he/she purchase proce of a mobile is rs 7500 how much should a customer pay for it with 13% vat​

The amount he/she is going to purchase in is = The C.P + 13% Vat = 7500 - (100-13=87) 7500 - 87% = 975. Now we need to add 975 with 7500 = 8475., also we need to add the 40 % Increased Price of the C.P = 7500 - 60% = 3000(which is also 40%) Now we add 8475 and 3000 = 11475, Finally we subtract the 20% From the S.P(selling price) = .9180

Therefore the amount he/she would buy the mobile is 9180 rs.
