Answer:

Contents Should Be mixed into The Ratio of 9 : 5

Step-by-step explanation:

A decanter contains 7 parts iced tea to 3 parts water

Let say

Ice Tea = 7A

Water = 3A

Total = 10A

Another decanter contains 21 parts iced tea to 4 parts water

Let say

Ice Tea = 21B

Water = 4B

Total = 25B

10A = 25B

=> A = 2.5B

Let say M : N is the ratio  Then

Iced tea  = 7MA + 21NB

Water =  3MA + 4NB

Total = 10MA + 25NB

Final Mixture has 3 parts of iced tea to 1 part of water

7MA + 21NB = 3 (3MA + 4NB)

=> 9NB = 2MA

=> M/N = 9B/2A

=> M/N  = 9B/(2 * 2.5B)

=> M/N = 9/5

=> M: N :: 9:5

Contents Should Be mixed into The Ratio of 9 : 5
