Given - STP conditions of pressure and temperature.

Volume at STP conditions - 546 cm³

Final Temperature - 15° C

Final pressure - 750 mm of Hg

Find - Final volume.

Solution - To find the final volume, formula used will be - P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2.

In the formula, P1V1T1 represents initial pressure, volume and temperature and P2V2T2 represents final pressure, volume and temperature respectively.

P1 - 760 mm Hg

V1 - 546 ml

T1 - 273 K

P2 - 750 mm Hg

V2 - ?

T2 - 273 + 15 - 288 K

760*546/273 = 750*V2/288

V2 - 583.68 ml.

Hence, the final volume of gas is 583.68 ml.
