a delivery vehicle makes a return journey between two depots which
are 15 km apart. The mean speed on the outward journey is 60 kilometer per hour
but because of traffic congestion the mean speed on the inward journey is only20 kph What is the mean speed over the total return journey?

Time of inward journey = 15/20 = 3/4
Time of outward journey = 15/60 = 1/4
Total distance = 30
Average speed = 30/(3/4 + 1/4) = 30kmph
