Consider parrallelogram ABCD
JOIN diagonal AC
Now in triangles ABC and ADC
AB=CD ] ( opposite sides )
BC=AD ] ( of a parallelogram)
AC=AC ] (Common)
=> triangle ABC is congruent to triangle ADC ( SSS )
Therefore two congruent triangles will have the same area
Hence proved
