A diagonal divides a parallelogram of 2 triangles of equal area. Prove!

AB = DC; BC = AD ----------------------------------------... def of parallelogram 
BD = BD ----------------------------------------... reflexive 
Triangle ABD is congruent to triangle CDB ---------------------> SSS

Consider parrallelogram ABCD 
JOIN  diagonal AC
     
Now in triangles ABC and ADC
           AB=CD ] ( opposite sides    )
           BC=AD ] ( of a parallelogram)
           AC=AC ] (Common)
 
             => triangle ABC is congruent to triangle ADC  ( SSS )
               
             Therefore two congruent triangles will have the same area
              Hence proved
