let the diagonal = d= 4o m
perpendiculars to the diagonal are h1, h2

h1 = 8m
h2 =10m

area of the quadrilateral = (h1+h2)d/2

= (8+10)*40/2
=18*20
=360sq m

Diagonal (d) of quadrilateral.= 40m

Let the two perpendicular be p1 and p2.

p1=8m and p2= 10m

Area of quadrilateral = d/2(p1+p2)

=40m/2(8m +10m)

=20m×18m

=360 sq. m
