a diagonal of a quadrilateral is 40m long and the perpendiculars to it form the opposite corners are 8m and 10 m respectively . find its area (fog.11.15)​

Answer:

Area of 1st triangle = 1/2 * base * height

=1/2* 40*10

=200 sq. M.

Area of 2nd triangle = 1/2* base * height

= 1/2*40*8

=160 sq. M.

Total area = 200+160

=360sq.m
