Given : Here dice is rolled 600 times.

So, total number of trials = 600

No. of getting prime number i.e 2, 3, 5 = 30 + 120 + 50 = 200

P(getting a prime number) = 200/600 = 2/6 =

Hence, the probability of getting a prime number is ⅓.

Option (A) ⅓  is correct.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Total number of trials = 600

To Find :-

Probability of getting a prime number.

Formula to be used :-

P(getting a prime number) = Prime Number/Total number of trials

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

P(getting a prime number) = Prime Number/Total number of trials

⇒ P(getting a prime number) = 30 + 120 + 50/600

⇒ P(getting a prime number) = 200/600

P(getting a prime number) = 1/3

Hence, The probability of getting a prime number is 1/3.
