A die is thrown once. Then, we get any one of the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Now, P(getting any number from 1 to 6) = 1/6

We have to find the probability of getting the square of the number appearing on the Dice to be a multiple of 9, i.e.  we have to find the probability of getting 3 and 6. [Since, 3^2 = 9 and 6^2 = 36 which are multiple of 9]

So, P(getting the numbers 3 and 6) = 2/6 = 1/3

Answer: (1) 1/3.
