These are the possible outcomes for when we throw a dice :
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
Out of these, only 2 numbers are less than 3 : 1 and 2
Therefore the probability of getting a number less than 3 is 2/6 = 1/3 = 0.33%
(P.S.- dice actually means 2 dies, since the singular is die. In that case, there is a slight change in probability, I think)
