Hey!

Ans i) prime numbers :- 2 , 3 , 5 , 7 ,11......

 \: probability \: =\frac{number \: of \: observations \: to \: make \: an \: event}{total \: number \: of \: observations}

so, in a die there are 3 prime numbers i.e, 2 , 3 and 5

so,

=  \frac{3}{6}

denominator is 6 because the total number of observations in a die are 6.

so,

=  \frac{3}{6}

=  \frac{1}{2}

so, you have 1/2 probability of getting a prime number.

Ans ii) there are only 2 numbers greater than 4 in a die i.e, 5 and 6

so,

=  \frac{2}{6}

=  \frac{1}{3}

so, you have 1/3 chance of getting a number greater than 4.

Ans iii) there are 5 numbers which are not greater than 5 .

so,

=  \frac{5}{6}

I hope this answers your question!
