A stable dikaryotic state is established after a mating between two compatible homokaryons. The dikaryon is a specialized form of heterokaryon in which each cell has two haploid nuclei, one from each parent of the cross.

hey buddy !! here's your answer...

✴️a dikaryon is a phase in which after fusion of cells , the nucleus don't fuse immediately . hence two nucleus occur in one cell.
this phase is generally seen in fungi and algae
