When electricity is passed through NaF ,
NaF --------> Na+ + F-
The sodium cation (positive) gets attracted to the cathode (negative) and the fluorine anion (negative) is attracted towards the anode (positive).
Thus Na is produced at cathode and fluorine is liberated in the anode.
