Hi there!

A dilute aqueous solution of sodium fluoride is electrolysed, the product at the anode and cathode are O2 and H2

Because F2 can't be formed here due to highest oxidizing agent character of oxygen.

Thanks :)

Hi Dear

When a dilute solution of sodium fluoride is hydrolysed

The reaction is NaF -----> Na+ + F-
H2O -----> H+ + OH-

Now since F- is highest oxidising agent so OH-

Dissociates to give H2 and O2 which re liberated at cathode and anode.

#Hope it helps
#Follpw me.
