Let say Cost Price of  1  kg ( 1000 gm)  = C

Then Marked Price = C + (40/100)C = 1.4C

uses a weight of 800gm instead of a kg weight

Selling Price for 800 gm = 1.4C

=> Selling Price for 1000gm = (1.4C/800)*1000 = 1.75C

Profit = 1.75C - C = 0.75C

Profit % = (0.75C/C) * 100  = 75%
