u = 0 m/s

net a = 20 m/s²

g = -10 m/s²

T = 10 s

We know that S = ut + 1/2 at²

S = 0*10 + 1/2*20*10²

S = 1000 m

When the rocket was accelerated, it reaches a height of 1000 m and continues to move upward due to some velocity.

Let's say rocket have a velocity 'V1' when it reached a height of 1000 m.

V1 = u + at

V1 = 0 + 20*10

V1 = 200 m/s

when the rocket was at a height of 1000 m, it was moving upward with a velocity of 200 m/s.

At its peak point, rocket will have a velocity V2 of 0 m/s.

(V2)² = (V1)² + 2(g)(s)

0 = 200*200 - 2*10*s

s = 2000m

total height attained by rocket = 1000 + 2000 = 3000 m
