A DNA has 5.6 kilo base pairs . If no. of cytosine molecule in this gene is 1000 then what will be the no.of rhyming molecule in this gene

According to base pairing rule,

If there are 1000 cytosine molecules, then there would be 1000 Guanosine molecules as well.

5600 - 2000 = 3600

3600/2 = 1800.

There would be 1800 each of Adenine and Thymine.

  • Adenine pairs with thymine.

  • If the number of molecules of cytosine will be 1000, then the number of molecules of the rhyming molecule i.e guanine will also be 1000.
