331 peptide bonds are present in that produced protein.

UGA, UAG, UGG --- Stop codons do not code for any amino acid.

so, 999 - 3 = 996

no. of amino acids = 996/3 = 332

no. of peptide bonds = 332 - 1 = 331

So, 331 peptide bonds synthesized during translation.
