hii!!

here's ur answer..

CSA+1base of the room=5a²

=5×(10)²

=5×100

=500m²

area of the door=l×b

=3×2

=6m²

area of the wall without any door=500-6

=494m²

total cost of painting=2.5×494

=₹1235

hope this helps...

Given:

  • Dimension of the door frame = 3 m. × 2 m.
  • Dimension of the wall = 10 m. × 10 m.
  • Cost for painting 1m^{2} = Rs. 2.50

To Find:

Total labour charges for painting the wall if the labour charges for painting 1m^{2} of the wall is Rs. 2.5 .

Solution:

Painting of the wall has to be done excluding the area of the door.

Area of the door = l × b

= 3 × 2 = 6 m²

Area of wall including door = side × side = 10 m × 10 m = 100 m²

Area of wall excluding door = (100 - 6) = 94 m²

Total labour charges for painting the wall = Rs. 2.50 × 94 = Rs. 235

:\implies \boxed{Labour \: charges \: for \:painting  = Rs.235}
