A & B.
Diagram showing germination of pollen on stigma:
(C) The process of union of male and female gametes is known as fertilisation. Pollens (male gametes) are carried to the stigma via different pollinators. After the pollen reaches the stigma, pollen germinates producing a pollen tube that carries the sperm nuclei to the ovary. Two sperm nuclei are released in the ovule. One of the them fuses with the female gamete (egg); thereby, forming the zygote. This process is known as syngamy. The other one fuses with two polar nuclei and results in the formation of endopserm. Since two fusions are involved, it is known as double fertilisation.
