Here ,

The initial velocity (u) of bus = 80km/h = 80×5/18 m/s = 200/9 m/s

The Final velocity (v) of bus = 60km/h = 60×5/18 m/s = 500/3 m/s

Time taken = 5seconds

So, The formula for Acceleration is =

(Final velocity- Initial Velocity )/Time taken

= (500/3 - 200/9) / 5

= {(1500-200)/9)/5

= 1300/9 × 1/5

= 260/9

= 28.8 m/s²

Answer → Acceleration is 28.8m/s²

Answer:

-1.11 m/sec

Explanation:

Given

Initial Velocity (u) = 80 km/hr

= 22.22 m/sec

Final Velocity (v) = 60 km/hr

=16.67 m/sec

Time (t) = 5sec

We know that

a = v - u / t

= 16.67 - 22.22 / 5

= -5.55 / 5

= -1.11 m/sec

Hope It Helps !!!!
