u = 25m / s

v = 10m / s

t = 5s

a = v -u /t

10m/ s -25m/ s / 5s

-15 m/ s/ 5 s

a = -3 m/ s²

hope it helps you !!!

 \huge \red{hello}
 \huge \green{your \: answer - - - - - }

 \huge \pink{given}

Initial velocity of car (u) = 25 m/s

Final velocity of car (v) = 10 m/s

Time taken (t) = 5 s

 \pink{formula \: \: \: \: \: a \: = \frac{v - u}{t} }

=> a= 10-25/5 m/S2

=> a= -3 m/s2

 \huge \orange{thus}

The acceleration of the car is -3m/s2 or has a retardation of 3 m/s2.

 \red{answer \: = - 3m \: per \: {sec}^{2} }
