v = 10m / s
t = 5s
a = v -u /t
10m/ s -25m/ s / 5s
-15 m/ s/ 5 s
a = -3 m/ s²

Initial velocity of car (u) = 25 m/s
Final velocity of car (v) = 10 m/s
Time taken (t) = 5 s
=> a= 10-25/5 m/S2
=> a= -3 m/s2
The acceleration of the car is -3m/s2 or has a retardation of 3 m/s2.
