A driver takes 0.2 s to apply brakes. If he is driving at a speed 54km/hr and the brakes cause a deceleration of 6m/s^2 find the distance travelled by the car,after he sees the need to apply brakes

v=0m/s
a=(-6m/s^2)
t=0.2sec
s=?
s=ut+1/2at^2
s=15×2/10+1/2×(-6)×2/10
s=3.6m

hardikmalik99: the formula says ut+1/2at^2 you have not put ^2 in 2/10
