Answer:

Let total capacity of drum = x litres

Oil in drum = 3/4x

Oil withdrawn = 15 litres

Oil left in the drum =15 litres

Oil left in the drum = 7/12x

A/Q

3/4x - 15/1 = 7/12x

3x-60 = 7/12x

40

12(3x-60) =4×7x

36x -720 = 28x

36x-28x=720

8x=720

x= 720 =90

8

x=90

°° total capacity of drum = 90litres.
