procedure:take a white chalk draw a circle around the chalk with any colored

sketch and dip the chalk in a plate filled with water.You can observe that chalk absorbs the water and u can see the colored mark will fade away leaving three or more colors called pigments.

This is the way to seperate an ink which consists of pigments.

BUT THE DEEPNESS OF THE WATER SHOULD NOT BE SO DEEP.IT SHOULD ONLY TOUCH ATLEAST 1 Cm OF THE CHALK.
