Explanation:

(a)The differences between A.C current and D.C

current are-

(1)D.C current moves only in one direction

whereas D.C current changes its direction at

regular time intervals.

(2)A.C current can be transmitted

over long distances whereas D.C

current cannot be.

(b)

Explanations:

A)magnitude of ac changes periodically and direction reverses time to time but in DC magnitude remains same and moves in one direction.

Ac can be transmitted over large distances while dc cannot.

B)this is happens because of electromagnetic induction

Electromagnetic induction -- where there is a change in magnetic flux electric current is produced called induced current. And this phenomenon is called electromagnetic induction.

when u hold the coil near magnetised iron bar the magnetic flux changes which produced electric current, that is why the lamb glows.
