Answer:

fountain pen basically ink pen leaks too much if there is a pressure diff

when you are at a certain height the pressure starts decreasing so the ink also starts flowing

in ball point pen the effect is very low because the nib of pen is closed with a ball which rolls and displace ink on paper

in ink pen the ink is directly displaced on paper

An air passenger prefer a ball pan to a fountain pen.

\huge{\red{\underline{\underline{\sf{Reason:}}}}}

\bigstar This is because of the pressure drop that causes the air within the pen body to push the ink out .

\bigstar The fountain pens which are bhai droppers tend to leak .

\bigstar The fountain pen leak at high altitudes is because of low air pressure .

\bigstar The ink inside the fountain pen has high pressure compared to the low atmospheric pressure at high altitude .

This is the reason the air passenger prefer a ball pen to a fountain pen.
