(a) Explain the pH change as the cause of tooth decay. How can tooth decay caused by pH change be
prevented ?
(b) Explain how pH change in the lake water can endanger the lives of aquatic animals (like fish). What can be done to lessen the danger to the lives of aquatic animals in the lake ?

a) when the PH of the mouth falls below 5.5 then tooth decay starts.it can be prevented by brushing our teeth with toothpaste which is basic in nature.

Ph of 5 which is acidic medium causes tooth decay and with the help of toothpaste it can be avoided as its Ph is more than Acid in mouth caused plaque.
