Step-by-step explanation:

average speed = total distance/total time taken

= (110+0+160)/ (1.5+2.5+1)

= 270/5

= 54km/hr

average speed = total distance by total time taken

the family travelled at first =110km

time taken =1.5 hour

the family travelled at second =160km

time taken =2.5 hour

average speed =110km+160 km.

by 1.5 hour +2.5 hour

=270

by 4

=67.5 km per hour
