Sale value = 644

Let the cost ofthe fan be x

Gain = 1/6x

Sale value = Cost of the product + profit

644     =      x+1/6x

644     =        (6x+x)/6

644(6) =       7x

3864    =7x

3864/7  = x

552     = x

cost of the fan = Rs.552

gain   = 552/6= Rs.92

Gain%=(92/644)*100

           14.28% on sales

Hope this helps..............
