A farm earns a profit of Rs 3 on every egg sold and incurs a loss of Rs 2 on every egg broken. One day, it sells 150 eggs and makes a profit of Rs 350. How many eggs were broken on that day?​

Therefore,

             150 * 3 = 450

450 should have been the profit for the farmer instead of 350 rs

and, loss incurred per egg= 2 rs

therefore, number of eggs broken = 100 rs/ 2 rs= 50

Therefore, 50 eggs were broken on that day.
