Given:
Days in which farmer can plow the field = 6
Days in which helper can plow using tractor = 10
To Find:
Days required for the plowing, if they work together
Solution:
Days in which farmer can plow the field = 1/6
Days in which helper can plow using tractor = 1/10
As per time formula -
Total work = 1/6 + 1/10
= 10 + 6/60
= 16/60
= 4/15
Total days = 3.75
Answer : The total days taken by both of them to plow the field is 3.75 days.
