\sf\huge\bold{Solution}

\longmapsto \dfrac{x}{8}  +  \dfrac{x}{4}  +  \dfrac{x}{12}  = 48

L.C.M of 8,4 and 12 is 24

\longmapsto \dfrac{3x + 6x + 2x}{24}  = 48

Now ,cross multiply between L.H.S and R.H.S

=>On the L.H.S 24 which is in divided form when shift towards right hand side it gets multiplied with 48.

\sf\longmapsto11x = 24 \times 48

\sf\longmapsto11x = 1152

=>Here,11 is being multiplied with Variable x ,its sign will get change when it shifts to the right hand side from multiply to division.

\sf x =  \dfrac{1152}{11}  = 104.72

\sf\bold{X=104.72}

Check

\sf\longmapsto \dfrac{104.72}{8}  +  \dfrac{104.72}{4}  +  \dfrac{104.72}{12}

 = 47.99 = 48
