First, we find the area of the square shaped land.

For that we need to find the value of each side of the square.

Value of side of the square land = (80+70)m = 150m.

Lets calculate first, the area of the land received by Naresh.

If we look closely, we observe the shape of the figure is of a triangle and if that triangle is divided equally, it becomes two right angled triangle having the same base and height.

Height of the right angled triangle (h) = 150m (equal to side of the square)

Base of the right angled triangle (b) = 150/2 = 75m (equal to half the side of the square)

And we know, area of a right angled triangle of height 'h' and base 'b' is represented as:

(1/2) × h × b

And for 2 such right angled triangle of same height and base, area is:

2 × (1/2) × h × b = (h × b)

Now, putting the value of 'h' as 150m and 'b' as 75m, we get Area as:

(150 × 75)m² = 11250m².
