A farmer grows tomatoes in a green house . He keep bright light on in the green house at night. What will be its effect on the growth of tomatoes..?

A farmer keeps the lights on in his green house to give the effect of day light which is important for the flowering and fruiting of the plants. This way the farmer is able to get the tomatoes even at a time when the tomatoes do not normally do not give fruits, i.e. during the time when days are very short.
