A farmer has a triangular piece of land of area 150m².
If fencing the 15m side costs ₹225, what will be the cost of fencing the remaining land.

Area of the field = 1/2bh

150= 1/2*15*h

150*2/15=h

20= h

Now by Pythagoras theorem

(AC)²=(AB)²+(BC)²

AC²=(20)²+(15)²

AC²=400+225

AC²=625

√AC=√625

AC=25m

Now perimeter of the field

AC+AB+BC

25+20+15

60m

now cost of fencing = 225×60/15=₹900
