\underline {\rm \orange{\huge{Solution}}}

Let the Present production of wheat be V

Production 2 years ago be W

According to the formula

V = W(1+r/100) ^n

Here r is the rate %

and n is the number of years

Hence, 2187=W×(1+8/100) ^2

2187 = W×27/25×27/25

W = 2187×25×25/27×27

= 1875

⇒ 1875 quintals

Answer:

25312.5 Quintals

Step-by-step explanation:

let us assume his produce 2 years ago be = x Quintals

Now his produce last year = (100x + 8x)/100 Quintals

                                            = 108x/100 Quintals

His produce this year = 108x/100 x 8/100 Quintals

It is given that his produce this year was 2187 Quintals.

⇒ 2187 = (108x x 8)/(100 x 100)

⇒ 2187 x 10000 = 864x

⇒ x = 2187 x 10000/864

⇒ x = 25312.5 Quintals
