A farmer owns a rectangular plot of length 2km500m and breadth 750m and a square plot of side 1.5 km.If he puts 1500 kg of fertilizer in the rectangular field and 1800 kg of fertilizer in the square field, find quantity of fertilizer per km² for each plot​

Area of Rectangular plot = lb

= 2.5 x 0.75

= 1.875 km2

And so, Ratio that quantities of fertilisers per km = 1500/1.875

= 800:1

Area of Square plot = a²

= (1.5)²

= 2.25 km²

And so, Ratio that quantities of fertilisers per km = 1800/2.25
