Amount of gaps -> 36m / 4m = 9

9 + 1 = 10 saplings.

The farmer will plant 10 saplings along the side.

Nivetha2018: How come u get 1??
SnowyStars: Because for example if there are 2 saplings

saplings will be represented by X
X 4m X
SnowyStars: so 4m will represent 2, because of the last ends of the sides.
SnowyStars: Therefore 9 gaps will have 10:
X 4m X 4m X 4m X 4m X 4m X 4m X 4m X 4m X 4m X
