Total land used =  $\frac{4}{5}$ +  $\frac{1}{7}$ = $\frac{28 + 5}{35} = \frac{33}{35}$

Land available = $1-\frac{33}{35} = \frac{2}{35}$

The answer is $\frac{2}{35}$
